Today, Supreme Court of Pakistan has disqualified Yousuf Raza Gillani from the post of Prime Minister. He is no more Prime Minister of Pakistan. The three-member bench of Supreme Court, headed by Iftikhar M. Chaudhry, has announced the verdict of disqualification on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, around 3:05 pm (+5:00 GMT) Islamabad. Following the directions of Supreme Court, the Election Commission of Pakistan released the notification of Gillani's disqualification at 8:02 PM.
This is contrary to what I had predicted about future of Gillani's government (on 28-May-2012). I had guessed that Yousuf Raza Gillani would remain Prime Minister until beginning of October 2012. However, Gillani had to step down today afternoon (19-June-2012). Without ifs and buts, I openly admit my mistake. Whatever be the reason, (incorrect birth chart of Gillani, misjudgment of transit, lack of concentration, blah, blah), the truth of today is "my prediction proved wrong".
Now this is indeed a call of morality and also a part of continuous self-correction, to accept my failure. We - astrologers - proudly count and boastfully remind our successful forecasts. But, we hardly bother admitting our failed predictions. Failure and success are part of all fields.
